Our Camps & Safari Facilities

Beautiful Accomodation seconded with the Art of Service

African Bush Camps has developed a portfolio of exclusive tented camps and offers you three ways of enjoying your African safari: Lifestyle in a tent is our luxury permanent bush camps, settled in private concessions within or along national parks in Zimbabwe and Botswana, Africa in a tent is semi-permanent tented camps, operating only in the safari season and Journey in a tent, is our mobile safari which uses fully equipped mobile tented safari camps, set up in any remote part of wild Southern Africa. In addition we also offer tailormade safari itineraries.

Lifestyle in a tent

Permanent bush camps in the Chobe enclave (Botswana), Hwange National Park and Mana Pools National Park (Zimbabwe)

Being on safari very quickly becomes a lifestyle that many travellers to Africa crave for when they are away from the wilderness: it is this same feeling of being close to nature that causes many people to return to the call of Africa year after year.

Linyanti Bush Camp and Linyanti Ebony, bordering Chobe National Park (Botswana), Somalisa Camp and Somalisa Acacia in Hwange National Park (Zimbabwe) and Kanga Camp  in Mana Pools National Park (Zimbabwe, along the Zambezi River) all will give you that homely feeling of familiarity and comfort, combined with a sense of vulnerability from the exposure to a remote part of Africa, where shared experiences, adrenalin, fun and danger seem to be the order of the day.

These camps are sent in private wilderness areas and / or National Parks and offer unique experiences to a handful of very fortunate visitors from all over the world.

Africa in a tent

Semi-permanent tented camps in Chobe Enclave and along the Moremi Game Reserve in Okavongo Delta (Botswana) as well as on the shores of the Zambezi river in Mana Pools (Zimbabwe).

This is the old Africa in a tent experience with the luxury to suite the modern day traveller. The camps are set up like that of an old explorer station where the origins of ‘safari’ began. The semi-permanent camps are set up for the safari season only, allowing you to fully explore nature and experience incredible wildlife encounters.

Designed as canvas under the stars, these camps will give you access to the iconic destinations of Botswana and Zimbabwe, whether it is in Moremi Game Reserve of the Okavango Delta (Khwai Tented Camp), Linyanti Marsh of the Chobe Enclave (Saile Tented Camp) and Nxai Pan (Migration Camp) in Botswana or Zambezi Life Styles Camp along the Zambezi river in Mana Pools (Zimbabwe).

Journey in a tent

Mobile tented camps are especially designed to journey throughout Botswana’s wildlife hotspots, paddle down the Zambezi River and experience the unique wilderness of Mana Pools.

These camps epitomise the true definition of a safari, which means a journey or expedition, often to a far and remote part of Africa.

They are expeditions into wild places to experience remote wilderness areas of Africa, whilst staying in simple yet comfortable tented camps, set up by professional teams of safari experts.

We have various mobile safaris – Botswana Mobile Safari to discover the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, the desert areas of Nxai & Makgadikgadi Pans or any other region you may desire. Experience Linyanti Walking Safaris in the Chobe enclave (Botswana), or join a Zambezi Canoeing and Walking Safari in Mana Pools (Zimbabwe).
