Raymond Ndlovu
Zimbabwean Safari Guide

Born in Hwange National Park, to a father who worked for the National Parks Services, Raymond’s life began and continued in the very environment which would ultimately become his passion and focus. His early childhood involved learning details about the wildlife and environment in which he lived, valuable knowledge passed on from his father. Raymond went on to attend a local school in the Dete Community village on the outskirts of Hwange National Park.
Having completed his schooling, Raymond began his guiding career in 1996, working as an apprentice under Touch The Wild. He then later moved on to work for AndBeyond and Wilderness Safaris before joining the African Bush Camps Team in 2010.
Raymond loves the outdoors and particularly enjoys conducting walking safaris with guests. He believes that every footstep taken allows for a new discovery, and that whilst walking with guests he is able to take time to share his love, appreciation and knowledge of the landscape and environment, including the vegetation, wildlife and birdlife that is encountered along the way.
