Zambezi Canoeing and Walking Safaris:

Come on the adventure of a lifetime. Canoe down the mighty Zambezi River, the 4th largest river in Africa on a 3 night canoe mobile Safari. Canoeing is a unique experience unlike any other. Easy paddling no canoe experience is necessary.

Three days canoeing on the Zambezi River, with a full back-up team who will set up the camps well ahead of you for the different night spots. These will be rustic tented camps on the banks of the river. In total you will probably do about 8 hours of light paddling in a steady current of about five kilometers an hour. During the three days you will not be going through any rapids. The whole trip will be along Mana Pools shore line covering a distance of about 50 kilometers during the entire trip, where you'll enjoy the viewing of wild life in the style of a canoe and this is usually combined with walking and exploring the Mana Pools wilderness areas, which are off the beaten track. This experience is enjoyed by people who seek adventure and exercise whilst absorbing the peace and tranquility of the Zambezi river. Wild life to be seen are Hippos, crocodiles, lions, wild dogs, leopard, hyenas, elephant, buffalo, Water-Buck and many other antelope.

Being a small private company, with 90% of the guiding being done buy the owners, it allows us the freedom to change and adapt the trip to enhance the enjoyment of each group that travels with us, we prefer to keep the groups small and personalized. The trips are more interactive and never crossing the same territory twice. The early start in the morning getting on the water and going down river for a couple of hours passing hippos and a manageri of birds on the way. We stop of a walk on the main land getting up close to Elephant, Buffalo, Eland, Zebra, Kudu and numerous other animals. After a leisurely cooked full English breakfast cooked on the side of the river, we continue down the river.

Arriving in our next camp site in the late afternoon in time for tea, cake and a game drive to see the interior if the Park with its extensive Acacia woodlands and the African tradition a sundowner. This trip is fully inclusive food, drinks, and accommodation. Walk in 9 foot by 9 foot on suite tents with a bucket shower under the African stars. This will be packed up and follow us down the river under the supervision of our wonderful Shona and Tonga staff, to our next nights camp.
