A small intimate tented camp tucked away subtly under a canopy of an acacia tree island on an ancient river system. This unbeatable wild elephant sanctuary is known for its large herds of elephant and the Somalisa concession in Hwange National Park affords you with your private African wildlife encounters from the minute you step out of your tent.
Somalisa having only 12 beds has been designed as an environmentally low impact camp giving you a barefoot luxury experience with understated elegance.

This is a charming small exclusive camp situated alongside the famous Somalisa Camp, known as the home of the elephants, in a private concession in the heart of Hwange National Park. Meant for private safaris, the camp caters for small family groups and those requiring a private experience shared with a maximum of 8 people. All the beautifully built but simplistic luxurious tents are on slightly raised decks, under the canopy of a grove of acacias on the western side of Somalisa. The camp enjoys its own private views of a small water hole that is frequented by large herds of big game which include buffalo, elephant, kudu, zebra, giraffe, and lion.

The private concession is set away from the crowds in a remote part of the legendary Mana pools where a private safari experience is the focus, and tracking wildlife on foot is a specialty.
A 12 bedded seasonal camp built around a water hole, which acts as the main attraction for wildlife in the area as it is the only source of permanent water in the location.
Walking and game-drive activities in the area can be complimented with trips to the Zambezi flood plain experience. Water based activities such as fishing and canoeing can be arranged in advance and on special request.

An intimate 8 bedded camp, fit for private safaris, set up prior to your arrival, the mobile luxury tented camp is designed to give you access to the Zambezi river affording you canoeing excursions on the river, fishing either from the banks or off an island in the middle of the Zambezi river, tracking game on foot oh the shore as well as traditional game drives.
