Mark McAdam

Mark McAdam was born in Zimbabwe in 1963 and has lived his whole life in Southern Africa. He grew up and completed his schooling in Zimbabwe. Following this he studied Electrical engineering in South Africa where he worked for 10 years. He has always had a great interest in natural history and wild life and in 1988 returned to Zimbabwe to pursue a new career as a professional safari guide. Beginning as a guide running canoeing safaris on the Zambezi River, he has run canoeing safaris, photographic and walking safaris for the last 16 years. Over this period he has conducted safaris throughout all of Zimbabwe’s national parks as well as safaris into Zambia and Botswana.
