LINYANTI BUSH CAMP- AWE INSPIRING!!

For the first time in twenty two years, the Linyanti River ejects a lifeline into the ancient channels of broad flood plains and the marshes sprout out evergreen plant-life like they never have before. As the scotching sun hovers over the cloudless sky each day on end, droves of wildlife make their presence felt as they make their way to the newest flow of life!

As you can imagine, our team at Linyanti have had another very enriching high -season, sharing Africa's beautiful and awe-inspiring experiences with guests from all over the world. Two cheetahs have been spotted quite often strolling a stone's- throw away from the camp, in an almost shy fashion; a sight worth seeing indeed!

One of our most renowned professional guides, Humphrey Gumpo accompanied a group on an extra-ordinary trip to Linyanti recently. It is at this time when in-land Africa becomes very dry and desolate and the large concentrations of wildlife congregate where water abounds. Despite being overwhelmed by the African wildlife experience he managed to share this with us;

Please find below the report on the Allan safari which went very well. After being in Mana Pools and Victoria Falls everyone was in safari mode and enjoying the flow of life on safari...

What are Linyanti Guests Saying about their experiences... Hi Beks, we had a great time at Linyanti Bush Camp, thank you so much for arranging this. We had incredible lion encounters! Pride of 9 lions killed 3 buffalo. We stayed with the kill and visited back and forth all the time to see how they were getting on! Also saw loads of Elephants in the area. Shaka looked after us very well as well as all the staff. Martin joined us after getting himself out the sand on his way back to camp and we finished off with a jolly time eating under the stars in the boma. You have Super staff and great singers. Thank you so much... Pippa and Roger, UK.

SOMALISA CAMP – THE LAND OF THE GIANTS

Somalisa Camp continues to live up to its name as the Land of Giants, offering our clients unbeatable elephant encounters. Over dinner, under an African night, these magnificent creatures have continued to give our guests an up close and personal view as they paddle through the water ponds overlooking the fire place - every photography enthusiast's dream!

After following fresh lion tracks with Henry ,our senior guide, a few weeks back, some of our guests had the pleasure of seeing big male lions squatting in the thick bushes hoping not to be noticed, in Ngweshla.On an average morning during our game drives, guests have spotted Hyena,giraffe,zebra,kudu, herds of sable antelope and Roan Antelope (particularly in recent weeks). Our cheetah sightings have increased as the impala population in the area has proved to be a worth while source if food for them.

"Thanks to Somalisa for an outstanding experience that's truly unforgettable! They knew about a wide variety and knowledge of topics and explained things interestingly. We enjoyed our guide (Henry) thoroughly and want to thank him for the superb efforts and knowledge. Will truly treasure these memories and will definitely recommend to friends." Wrights, Santa Barbara, USA
