Dear {{name}}

We hope you had a safe and most enjoyable Easter.

Zimbabwe is a country that was considered by the Australians and the British as one of the top holiday destinations in less than 10 years ago. The country has been troubled in the last decade with political unrest followed by economic collapse. However, we have remained dedicated to supporting the people that have needed the help the most, thanks to all the continued travel and support from you. The support has reached out especially those living alongside our national parks that have desperately needed protection. We believe we have come to the end of a rugged journey and we will start to realize the use of our wilderness areas that have remained prolific with wildlife. We invite you to visit Zimbabwe, the beloved and explore the less traveled road and enjoy her beauty in remote Africa. Your starting point is at Somalisa in the heart of Hwange National Park, a paradise near the amazing Victoria Falls.

In this newsletter we feature the following:
- Discover Hwange National Park & Somalisa Camp Specials
- Somalisa Camp takes on a new look after a refurbishment
- Photographic journey with Eric Gausse
- Indaba 2009

African Bush Camps
African Bush Camps

An untouched African Destination, where years of history are etched into the very soul of the land of the giants. The giants of the land the elephants populate a great part of Hwange National Park. This national park is still largely preserved in its natural state and bamboozles you with three exciting choices... Spotting some of the 105 large mammal species during a game drive or sneaking up on some of the 401 bird species during one of our coveted walking safaris in the company of one of our seasoned professional guides or interacting with the vast plant-life which is a unique blend of the Southern Savannah and South-west Kalahari

In the Heart of the Hwange National Park lies Somalisa Camp, which has made a name for itself as the "Land of the Giants"

We invite you to celebrate with us, by taking advantage of the Somalisa promotion;

Somalisa takes on a new look

The brand new sand coloured tents are stunning and blend in with the natural colours of the seasonal flood plains. Our saligna wooden floors and alegent furniture had taken their fair share of the African sun, hence we have re-stored their rich colours by sanding them down to their original colour. Our splash pool has had a face lift using natural calcrete rocks from the area, after 2 seasons of battering from the elephants that take over the pool as their own in the dry season.

As a follow up to a launch of this great safari expedition, there are only 2 places left on this safari, please contact us to book whilst you can. Special departure dates can be requested separate to this set safari.
