Dear {{name}}

In this time, where many facets of the world are changing, we too as a people need to change and better adapt to the challenges but also opportunities that these changes come with. As we all brace ourselves to what is evidently a challenging year ahead of us, it is important to recognise the need to continue supporting the very people that exists around the last remaining wilderness areas of the world and at the same time, come up with initiatives that will contribute to environmental support and responsible travel. Over the next few weeks, we will be finalising our conservation and community programmes through our non-profit organisation Uthando Africa (to have a heart for Africa) which will be launched soon.

In the mean time, a safari in remote Africa is a great escape in these times to recharge and revive ourselves. There has never been a better time for you to make this great escape to South Africa and Namibia where the South African Rand has weakened and presents you with in-expensive holidays, Botswana that is offering almost free safaris; and finally Zimbabwe that has remained affordable as its safari camps and wild parks start to spring back to the market place with enticing promotions and introductory offers.

In this newsletter we feature the following:
- Khwai Tented Camp - a wildlife paradise embracing cultural tourism
- Photographic Safari Journey with Professional Photographer Eric Gauss
- Somalisa Camp - Safari of a lifetime by Belinda Hounsell
- Botswana Free Wings Lives on

Somalisa Camp

A Visit to Somalisa Camp was a journey of a lifetime for one of our guests who spent some time just before Christmas at the camp with her family and had much to say about the camp including a detailed photographic collage.

Our whole family recently stayed at Somalisa, just before Christmas, last year. This was the first time for us to visit your camp and my two children, husband and I had an unbelievable experience there. Both of my kids have put it on the top of their list as a place that they would like to re visit in the future. We had the most wonderful guides, Alfie & his team were awesome, and although it was in the height of the rainy season, we had very good game viewing. Read More...
