New Camp in Mana Pools: Kanga Bush Camp
The Old Africa in a New Era
Set in the most remote part of the world Heritage site in Mana pools is Kanga Pan, not too far Chitake Springs.
This area has never been developed and gives you the experience of a pure and un-spoilt Africa.
The area is very diverse and has not have multiple of open vlei lines, river systems of the Ruckomechi River, and mixed woodland types from mopane woodland to Jesse bushes and riverine forests. Kanga Pan is the only known source of water in the area that is available all year round and makes it a hub for wildlife in the area.
The area can be best described as an explorer’s paradise especially for walking to untamed areas that are inaccessible by vehicle. The beauty of this area is that you will not encounter anybody else, making it your private Africa. Yet, you also have access to the Zambezi river flood plains of Mana pools within an hour’s drive.
Chitake springs can be booked over long term stays through special prior arrangements.
The Camp is a 12 bedded tented camp with en-suite bathroom facilities and out-door shower and basins over-looking the water hole. Kanga is the old Africa in a new era.
Seasons 1st April – 31st October and special exploratory trips during the rainy season on request.
