The Ultimate Hwange Experience – Pre-We Are Africa Tour

As the largest National Park in Zimbabwe occupying roughly 14,650 square kilometres, Hwange National Park has established itself as one of the most sought after safari destinations in Africa. Offering one of the largest diversities and concentration of species in a National Park in Southern Africa, Hwange has an estimated 108 wildlife species and over 470 bird-life species. . Renowned for its large herds of elephants and up close wildlife encounters throughout the year, this National Park should be on every new and seasoned travellers list as the “Ultimate Safari Experience”.

A selection of the finest We Are Africa Photographic Safari Operators in and around Hwange National Park have teamed up to offer Agents and Media attending the We Are Africa 2016 Conference, an opportunity to take part in the Ultimate Hwange Experience in order to understand the differing accommodation options available, the distances between the different areas, and to get a general overview of what this magnificent wildlife haven has to offer. Split into two groups of 6 pax, the two itineraries will allow those participating to conduct one night at the beautiful Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, followed by 4 nights in Hwange with a mixture of overnights and site inspections of 10 properties both inside and outside of the Park.

24th April: Arrive Vic Falls and overnight at Vic Falls Safari Lodge
25th April: 07h00 Pickup for transfer to Khulu Ivory / Ivory Lodge for Site Inspection, Lunch and Game Drive
25th April: Catch Elephant Express from Kennedy Siding to Bomani / Camel Thorn
25th April: Overnight Bomani / CamelThorn
26th April: Meet at Midway point with The Hide at 10am
26th April: Overnight The Hide
27th April: Meet Somalisa at Ngweshla at 08h00 and transfer to Somalisa for Site Inspection / Lunch
27th April: 2.30 Somalisa to meet Linkwasha at Ngweshla for transfer to Wilderness properties
27th April: Overnight Linkwasha
28th April: Linkwasha to Drop at HMC at 09h00 – Nehimba to collect and have lunch at camp
28th April: Camp Hwange to collect at 14h30 for transfer to Camp Hwange
28th April: Overnight Camp Hwange
29th April: Road Transfer to Mbala Gate for Vic Falls Airport and departure flights to Cape Town
